Chopard’s L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature is a rare interpretation of the brand’s ultra-thin dress watch, produced in a 100-piece series (ref. 161948-5002). The 40 mm case is crafted from Fairmined rose gold and paired with a vegetable-tanned green alligator strap. Its dial, finished in a rich green tone and decorated with an engraved leaf motif, adds a tasteful bit of excitement while remaining understated. At just 7.2 mm thick, the case wears comfortably and slips easily under a cuff.
Visible through the sapphire caseback is the COSC-certified caliber 96.12-L. This in-house automatic movement is only 3.3 mm thick yet delivers 65 hours of power reserve from twin coaxial barrels. It is wound by a signature 22-carat gold micro-rotor.

This watch was acquired by a seasoned collector and remained unworn in his collection, with the caseback still retaining its original factory sticker.
As with any unworn piece, minuscule handling or transportation marks may be found upon inspection, including faint signs of strap removal and reattachment for shipping, along with a touch of patina.
Although released in 2019, this example was only registered in 2023, likely making it among the last units to be sold, and potentially the last unit that's still in unused condition. Like many pieces stored for several years, it shows minor natural aging, most evident as light oxidation on the hands. The watch itself remains unused and is in 96+/100 mint condition.
