Cartier Tank Must "Art Deco" 1614 RARE Limited Edition Small Silver Case
Presenting one of the most character-rich Cartier watches produced---The Cartier Tank Must de Cartier Limited Edition "Art Deco" Reference 1614.
This exceedingly-rare Must de Cartier Tank was first released in 1995 to mark the 70th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in 1925. This event, held in Paris, drew thousands of visitors and was a significant moment in design history, introducing modern styles in architecture, interior decoration, furniture, and other decorative arts.
The dial features an array of shapes and colors, with an asymmetrically-placed "must de Cartier". Rich with Cartier's DNA while offering an aesthetic unlike any other, this highly sought-after, enthusiast-acclaimed Tank is undeniably captivating, making it a surefire gift or addition to anyone's collection.

•••Cosmetic Condition•••
Overall: Good pre-owned condition for its age. It is absolutely stunning on the wrist!
The silver surfaces of the case show moderate, ordinary wear. The caseback is in excellent condition.
The dial has only very minor imperfections upon close inspection--primarily located at the left of the bottom edge--and has aged tastefully while retaining much of its original, vibrant colors.
The surface of the crystal only has some absolute minuscule, nearly-unobservable wear. Some artifact is present at 3 o'clock on the crystal (it's not on the dial), it may be some adhesive peel from where it's sealed to the bezel edge, but we are not sure.
The exterior of the strap–most likely the original that came on the watch at the time of purchase–has held up wonderfully for its age! It is very outwardly presentable. As expected for its age, the interior of the strap has staining. It does not have any unpleasant odors, and has plenty of life left.
It would be my pleasure to answer any additional questions you may have. A secure, reliable, transparent transaction is a top priority.

What makes your approach different?
Our focus is on fewer pieces handled carefully and intentionally rather than high transaction volume. This allows us to remain selective, detail-oriented, and consistent in how we operate and what clients can expect.
Every watch we list as in stock is physically in hand and thoroughly inspected prior to listing. Condition is evaluated carefully, documented accurately, and supported by high-quality photographs of the actual watch offered for sale. All listings are reviewed directly by the company’s owner, and photography is revisited if anything material warrants clearer presentation.
We aim to describe condition candidly and practically, with a balanced and consistent style of disclosure. If you have specific condition concerns or sensitivities, we encourage you to ask before committing so expectations are fully aligned. Additional photographs can be provided upon request for specified areas of interest.
We primarily work with collectors and enthusiasts who value thoughtful sourcing, careful presentation, and long-term satisfaction. While we’re always open to working with new clients, clarity of intent helps ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Our work is built on consistency, long-term engagement, and a deep respect for the watches themselves. Transactions should be straightforward, handled with care and competence, and meet expectations the first time.
-
How can I trust you if we’ve never met or worked together?
Interpersonal trust is built over time, but trustworthiness can be evaluated through consistency and an observable track record.
Beyond our reputation and thousands of long-standing reviews across established platforms, our work is visible and verifiable. Every watch we list is photographed, described, and presented using original, clearly identifiable images of the actual piece in our possession, following a consistent standard of disclosure and presentation. Over time, this has resulted in a visible archive of thousands of watches that reflects sustained access to exclusive pieces, continuity, and long-term operation.
That level of presentation and inventory depth cannot be assembled quickly or maintained casually. It requires years of sourcing, capital, relationships, technical competence, and follow-through that signals permanence, stability, and reliability rather than short-term opportunism.
-
How quickly do you respond?
We operate on a selective, high-touch basis rather than high volume. When a transaction is active or time-sensitive, we respond promptly and prioritize accordingly.
Other inquiries may take a bit longer as we focus first on active work. If something is time-sensitive, flagging that clearly helps ensure it’s handled appropriately.
This approach allows us to stay focused and deliver the level of care, reliability, and follow-through our clients expect.
-
What is your best price?
Typically, we offer competitive compensation to acquire quality stock and set our prices at competitive levels from the start. This approach differs from higher prices set by boutique retail resellers, allowing us to avoid extensive negotiations and trade value manipulation. While we value genuine negotiation attempts with reasonable offers and supporting reasoning, inquiries seeking the "best price" will generally be directed to the listed price. Site prices shown reflect wire-transfer prices.
-
What payment methods do you accept, and do you take credit card payments?
We provide the option to make payments through bank wire transfer for direct transactions on our site. Additionally, we are open to considering trade-ins for luxury watches.
For smaller to moderately-sized transactions, we can also accept Zelle, cash, and cryptocurrency.
If you prefer using a credit card, you can complete the payment through our marketplace listings on eBay, Chrono24, or Bezel. Please be aware that the watch's price will be slightly higher on these platforms to account for associated fees. Additionally, for any purchase made through an online marketplace facilitator such as those platforms, sales tax will be applied unless you are shipping to a sales tax-free state.
-
Do you offer showings?
Showings can be arranged in downtown Miami on an appointment basis. Please reach out with your preferred timing and the specific watch you’d like to see, and we’ll coordinate accordingly.
For security purposes, new clients may be asked to provide a photo ID prior to meeting.
-
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, we can ship to many countries with full insurance via express DHL shipping.

How do sourcing inquiries work?
Inquiring about sourcing a similar piece is available for certain timepieces we believe we can locate upon request.
The checkout process gathers your contact information and specifications, such as year range, condition, completeness, and other preferences for the item you'd like us to source. No payment is required during this step. Once submitted, we ask that you contact us to initiate the active sourcing process.
For items labeled "Sold Out," this typically indicates they are no longer available due to rarity or limited circulating supply. If you're interested in one of these pieces, you’re welcome to reach out to explore potential sourcing options.
Please note that market conditions and supply can fluctuate, and prices listed for past units may not reflect current market values. We’ll provide a quote tailored to current market conditions and your specific preferences.
Keep in mind that details from past listings, such as warranty dates, condition, and included extras, were specific to those units and may differ from what we can source. We’ll work with you to refine your preferences and provide a customized quote.
