Arnold & Son’s HM Double Hemisphere Perpetual Moon delivers one of the most dramatic lunar displays in modern watchmaking. At its center is a 29 mm moonphase disc with two three-dimensional moons of ~11.2 mm each, depicting both Northern and Southern hemispheres. Their sculpted relief and scale create a strikingly dynamic effect under changing light.
The dial and moon disc are finished in guilloché overlaid with translucent blue lacquer, while red-gold accents across the 42 mm case and hands contrast elegantly with the deep blue backdrop.
Inside is the Calibre A&S1512, a hand-wound movement with a 90-hour power reserve. Its maillechort bridges are decorated to haute horlogerie standards, and through the exhibition back one can also admire the discreet age-of-the-moon indicator, which assists with precise adjustment. The complication is calibrated with extraordinary accuracy, deviating by only one day every 122 years if kept running.

The rose gold surfaces are in excellent condition, showing only very minimal superficial wear and a single minuscule, non-distracting nick on the inner edge of the bottom-left lug. The original owner had an extensive collection and only wore it a handful of times.
The crystals are clean.
The leather strap is in excellent, minimally-used condition and does not have any unpleasant odors.
